PRAYER Loving God and spending quality time in prayer with Him is our main ministry; many lives are touched and changed by this ministry alone!

PRAISE Celebrating daily in joyful praise the love of God for his children, both in our communal prayers and in our ministries.

EVANGELIZATION Serving the spiritually poor, we seek to bring every person we meet to a personal knowledge of the Lord’s love for them, and an experiential relationship with our loving God.

Expanding Our Mission to Make Disciples of All Nations

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19

Your Sisters of the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ are growing — and so is our mission to the spiritually poor… also in Mexico!

A Vision Born in Prayer

Mother John Marie, our Foundress, dreamed of Prayer Towns around the world — places where the fire of the Holy Spirit could form, nurture, and send out disciples to renew the Church by ministering to his people.

Today, this vision is alive in Proyecto San José, and our planned expansion in Higueras, Nuevo León, Mexico, where God is already raising up new vocations!

Why We Are Expanding

Over the years, many young women from Mexico have heard the Lord’s call through our community. Now, we have:

7 Sisters from Mexico
More young women waiting to join us!

But our current space is small — just one room divided by partial walls for four Sisters. To grow and form these new vocations, we need:

A larger convent to house and train new Sisters
A chapel where people can pray and join us for worship
A dining room to host talks, retreats, and celebrations

What God Has Already Provided

God’s providence is clearly at work:

We have received a beautiful land in Higueras, México — surrounded by majestic mountains, and donated by a family, which has its roots in this loving community.
A small temporary office/living space for the first four Sisters.
Spiritual and architectural guidance from Mr. Jeffrey Darrey and Mr. Alberto Portela, from Florida.
The blessing and support of our Bishops:
- - - Most Rev. Patrick J. Zurek, Bishop of Amarillo, and
    - Mons. Rogelio Cabrera López, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Monterrey, Mexico, who blessed the land and the project.

Almost 95% of the $1 million goal has been raised!
